课文字、词、句讲解(30分钟) It only takes 30 seconds to make a first impression. But, it may last for months or years. Here's how to impress at first sight: Speak silently. Body language accounts for 55 percent of a first impression; what you say is just 7 percent, says one study. How should you stand? Put your arms at your sides and lean forward slightly. "It may feel awkward at first, but it looks open and attentive," says Lynda Goldman, author of How to make a Million Dollar First Impression. Warm up your handshake. At parties, keep your hands warm. Hold your glass in your left hand. Keep your right hand free for a quick, firm handshake. Follow the "rule of twos". If you want to make a good first impression, use a person's name and offer compliments. But don't overdo it, says Goldman.
Don't use these tactics more than twice or you might come across as insincere.
Here is how… Here is how to find the way to our Here is how to solve the math problem quickly in class. Here is how to impress our new teacher on the first day of the term. at first sight This English passage seemed not so difficult at first sight. Fall in love at first sight. account for=be=occupy I spent one Yuan for the bus ticket. “for”等于/等值 ②Red is for danger. ③ NC “N” for(就是/等于) “New” “C” for (就是/等于) “Channel” 理解了”for”就好办了,account 字义好理解,vi. The boys in that class account for only 46%. 46%。 What you say is… what 引导的是主语从句 What you say will be recorded by the MP3. One study shows that 60% of high school students don’t have enough sleep. Put your arms at your sides. lean倾斜、倚lean forward slightly(身体)略微前倾(动作示范) The tree leans forward slightly in wind. It may feel awkward at first, but it looks open and attentive. It feels awkward at first, but it looks open and attentive. million dollar= golden= valuable= important millionaire百万富翁(并非指某人的钱刚好精确到一百万)。 Our physical education teacher used to say, “Warm up your hands and legs.” 温暖 hold your glass in your left hand右手握杯(动作示范) keep your right hand free (腾出右手来随时准备跟人握手)for a quick, firm(坚定、有力的)handshake follow the rule of twos凡事不过二 /follow the rule of threes凡事不过三 use a person’s name=call a person’s name别的东西不提,为何专提人的名字? Answers - What kind of person do I come across as? ② If it is a proud moment for you, your voice will come across as positive. ③ Your teacher has taught many fixed writing modules(模版) for English writing tests, but don’t use these tactics more than twice in one exam, or 不然的话、否则you might come across as a copy writer(抄袭者,或类似于exam cheater考试投机取巧者). ④ we hope that Mr. Zheng will change his manner (=way=attitude=style), or 不然的话、否则he might come across as a casual, unserious and insincere person.
